Create a story is designed to enable your child to develop his or her imagination, creative, social, musical and language skills.

Nicola Lythgoe - My background
I am an experienced practising primary school teacher who for over 20 years has specialised in the early years curriculum.
Create a story is my vision of how young children learn through play and fun. I am passionate about children being immersed in a creative and playful environment where learning can take place without any pressure.
The sessions are individually created so that through play children become immersed in the stories we tell.

Nicola Lythgoe - My qualifications
My formal qualifications are a B.ed from Leeds Polytechnic, an M.A.ed from the Open University, an Advanced Diploma in Language and Literacy, and a Certificate in Play Therapy.
In addition to create a story I offer private individual lessons for children struggling with literacy and maths. I offer lessons for children who are beginning to learn the piano.
I have experience in working with dyslexic adults and am able to offer individual lessons and support.
